Welcome to KEEP (Kodály Educators of Eastern Pennsylvania), an affiliated chapter of OAKE, our national organization of Kodály music educators.

In 1977, Jane Pippart-Brown recognized the need for a Kodály chapter in the eastern Pennsylvania region. With her leadership, KEEP came into existence. The majority of our members come from the central Pennsylvania region. However, our membership extends to the east to include members from the greater Philadelphia area, and north to include members from the Lewisburg area. Being the only chapter in the state, we occasionally will pull membership from the other regions of the state. Our members are music teachers in public and private schools, college level instructors, private instrumental and vocal teachers, church musicians and college music students.
